Create your account and tell ZaleBee about your business. This takes about five minutes.
Create your account
- Go to app.zalebee.com and choose Register.
- Enter your details and verify your email address using the link or code we send you.
- Sign in. The first time, ZaleBee opens the Business setup screen.
Complete the business setup
Fill in each field carefully. Some of them, such as the currency, are hard to change once you have transactions.
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Your name | Prefix, first and last name of the account owner. |
| Business name | The name printed on your invoices. |
| Currency | The currency you sell in. |
| Time zone | Used for dates and times on every transaction and report. |
| Address | Country, state, city, ZIP code and landmark of your main location. |
| Financial year start | The month your financial year begins, e.g. April in India. |
| Accounting method | How stock cost is calculated (e.g. FIFO). Ask your accountant if unsure. |
| Preferred language | The language of the screens. Each user can change this later. |
| Tax 1 / Tax 2 | Your tax registration name and number, e.g. GSTIN or VAT. Printed on invoices. |
Priya opens Sharma Grocery. She fills in the setup like this:
| Business name | Sharma Grocery |
| Currency | India – Rupee (INR) |
| Time zone | Asia/Kolkata |
| Financial year start | April |
| Tax 1 name / number | GSTIN / 27ABCDE1234F1Z5 |
Her invoices now show "Sharma Grocery", prices in ₹, and her GSTIN at the top. Reports run from 1 April to 31 March.
Suggested order after setup: business settings → locations → tax rates → invoice settings → users → products → contacts → opening stock. Then you're ready to sell.
